Gday All,
This is my first effort at a 251 and I am enjoying it heaps. I plan to build the whole lot eventually, if my patience holds out.
This is the interior so far. No real weathering yet just a little wear in the harder to get at place.
Please comment / critique.
Cheers
Alex H

Looks great!! Don't forget to wear and tear the bulkheads and the seats.
Ciao for now

Looks good so far apart from a little more weathering, how about putting a drop of tamiya/clearcoat/Gloss varnish intp the instrument faces, particularly as the large one does draw ones eye straight to it.
Keep going though.

As the others have said, I think you need a drop of clear varnish or Future/Kleer on the dials to even them out a bit. And the wooden benches (they are wood, right?) need a litte bit more wear to make them match the level of wear on the floor. And maybe tone down the silver on the driver's pedals a touch... maybe.
Looks great, though. I really like the effect you achieved on the treadplate floor - it looks exactly like worn metal!

Great effort Alex! Just paint those spare glass vision blocks black, they're the things on either side just the drivers side of the angular brackets.

Thanks for the tips guys. I had put one drop of future on the dials but poss not enough so I have added another and will see how it goes.
Also toned down the wear on the pedals.
As for the wooden seats, any suggestions on how to depict wear on wood. I have thought about it but apart from shiny bits wear the bums go I am a little stumped.
Cheers
