Gday All,
I think I have finally finished the interior. Weathering the wooden seats had me stumped for quit a bit but I am happy with the results.
I haven't mastered the use of future yet (on the dials). After around seven applications I gave up. The big dial still has a little dip in the middle.
I am extremely satisfied with the result but I am sure I have forgotten something.
Any assists welcome.

Cheers
Alex H

Alex

This looks really nice to me. Are my eyes decieving me or did you put a small "crack" in one of the boards that make up the seats - the one on the driver's side second one from the back? The weathering looks good to me. Wonder if there's anyway to poke a hold in the upholstery of the seats. Just a thought. Nice build man

Great finish on those wooden benches Alex! Really good finish all round in fact. The dials look good, and don't worry about the dip in the future on the big one, they're quite difficult to see at all when the upper hull is in place.

Mike, their is a slight nick on several of the boards. Purely accidental when I was scribing them out but the effect works for cracked wood.

Vinnie, thanks for the comments. Coming from you it is high praise indeed. I follow your reviews and used your work on the 251/17 as a guide to this. Keep up the great work.

Cheers

Looks very nice Alex - all round great work!
I like the drybrushing / scuffing of the metal plating between the driver and co-driver - this would be a high traffic area and get very worn as you have depicted.

Between this and Vinnie's I'm motivated to build one!
The dragon kit I have has been moved up in the stash hierarchy!! :-) :-)

P.S thanks for the DVD that arrived - it's awesome - cheers mate.
