Heres some pics of my DML t-34/76 mod. 1941 in progress. It's my first attempt at preshading, and althought it doesnt seem to show up too well in these photos, I'm quite happy with the results. Assembly is basically complete except for a few small pieces, the tracks, and the front towing hook which I managed to lose. It was airbrushed with model master acrylics. All comments / critiques welcome.

Looks like a nice clean build so far, might be just the lighting but I can see bits of the preshading and as you said looks pleasing

Looking good so far. I can see the preshading, and I think the fact that its subtle is good; aren't you supposed to only barely able to tell its there if its done right? It looks like a great base for further weathering. What do you have planned?

Looks very good, I've got one like that sitting on my bench as well and I was wondering how / if you are going to tackle those screen covers on the back.
Also, I must say construction on my T34 has stopped recently because during drybrushing I managed to whipe off those rings on the top of the turret, haven't been able to scratchbuild convincing replacements for them

Thanks for the replies. As for the weathering I plan on goin pretty heavy with it. I wanna include it as part of a dio where it will be half covered in debris from a destroyed building.
As for the photo-etch screen covers I never even used them on my kit. . .I didnt even notice they were available until I had already put on the styrene part.

definitely a nice clean build you got there so far. I certainly see the preshading you did before too. Great job on the airbrushing.
To further enhance the panels, i would still apply a pin wash and then dry brush over it with the base coat to blend it in.
