Here is my entry for the "Ol' Blood and Guts - PATTON" campaign , its Tamiya's M26 Pershing built as a USMC version serving in the Korean war in 1950.

It went together as you would expect from a Tamiya kit although I still not sure as to wether the extra parts included to make the "working" suspension would have been better spent on including a few extras like the turnbuckles for the track guards , as you may see mine does have them thanks to Clanky44 who kindly donated the ones from his DML Pershing so once again a big thankyou Frank

I added a few little extras from spare PE including a detailing set for the 50cal , the mantlet cover is made from foil and the stowage is a mixture of Tamiyas allied vehicle stowage set and tarps are made from tissue and pva, the spent shell casings are left over German 88mm rounds but shhhh whats 2mm between friends

Its painted with Humbrol OD and weathered with humbrol enamels and chalk pastels

Anyway here are some pics, comments , contructive critisism welcome as allways

Thanks Ian

Well done Ian!!! The extra gear makes it stand out nicely. Good effect on the graduated weathering and dusting.

...You realize that, this forces me to get off my lazy butt and put paint to mine...

Wow im almost discouraged on starting mine based on the amount of effort you placed in yours. Well done!

Just a quick question on weathering using enamels however. Did you dry brush them on or were they included in other aspects in the weathering?

Thanks Jeremy

I used thinned enemals for the filters , a very light almost buff colour on the uper surfaces then a darker more earthy brown for the lower areas of the vehicle rinning gear , side skirts etc

No critique from me. Very nice entry you built for this Campaign. I like Pershings - and you did a nice job on this one.
