Hi all,

My first 1/72 project! This diorama will be my entry for the Berlin '45 campaign. So far I used:

- Dragon's Panther ausf G
- PST's IS2
- Italeri's Russian infantry
- Revell's German infantry

I might add something like a German AT gun or Kübel as well.

For now, I've finished building the IS2 (time for painting and weathering) and I'm working on the Panther. The buildings still need to be detailled but it may give you an idea of the layout.

The idea behind the diorama is a report from an eyewitness of a fight between a Panther and IS2 during the battle of Berlin. The IS2 fired at the Panther and the shell penetrated the Panther's front armour and left though the rear of the tank before it exploded....

That 122mm gun must have been powerfull for it's time!

In my diorama, the IS2 surprised the Panther which is defending the large street from an ambush position, and shot right through it's front and rear armour.

Martin,

Man, good progres on this dio! I like the set-up of the scene very much.
I took the liberty to make a link in the Berlin forum to this thread.

Are you building the buildings from styreen plate?

Hi Chuck, those figures look excellent. They would fit perfectly in my diorama! Gonna order them

Does any of the Dutch members has an idea of where to buy them in the Netherlands?

Paul, the buildings are indeed made out of plastic sheet but I still need to detail them.

Thanks,
Martin
