Well I am almost finished with the Tamiya Stug III B in 1/35. I really like this easy kit for a change of pace. Please forgive the quality of the photos, I do believe that I will be getting a new digital camera with my tax refund.
Anyway, I still need to dull coat the kit and then weather it. I'm trying to decide on whether to use the kit tracks or go with an extra set of tracks from an old DML Stug kit. The jury is still out on that. Please let me know what you think. I hope to have the completed photos soon.

Looks like a good build overall.
Some thoughts.
The lower hull looks to be an entirely different color from the upper surfaces.
I'd tone down the black, especially on the return rollers and add some black into the exhaust pipes.

HI, Looks very nice. Coming out really well. I went ahead and used the kit-supplied tracks on mine, as I just wasn't going to go to the added expsense of using the Fruils on this one. Of course you won't have any "sag" effect, but once painted and weathered up, they will look okay.
Take care, Larry

Hey Al, it does look to be two different colors on the upper and lower surfaces, but it is the lighting. I will drybrush those return rollers, as they are too black. Thanks for the heads up.
Larry, you are right about the lack of sagability (not really a word, but you get the point) of the rubber tracks. I think I''l opt for the DML tracks.

How was the kit to build? I say go for the kit tracks Tracks sag is a bit overated in my opinion
