Well the pictures are no hell, but they will do for now. Here is my deuce complete.. Tamyias kit almost fell together..I added some detail bits, plug wires, a throttle cable and engine compartment stiffeners under the hood.
Tire valves and some heavy cabling for the starter. Added a wire tow cable to the front and a chainfor the bumper..
Had fun with this one, tried a few different things, namely mud and some minor paint chipping. A huge thanks to Mr Roo. He assisted me with a photo of a deuce since I found and posted, the wrong one. I will still add some gear to the truck. I have an allied accesories kit kicking about somewhere.. Hopefully by then I will be able to take a decent shot of the truck.. Thanks again for the helpand the advice everyone.. Here are a few shots... I will add some to the proper folder soon...
The real deal

I like it. Very weathered.
Are you thinking about adding anymore cargo?

Very nicely finished. Nothing like a 'Jimmy' to make me want to do another.

Well done Dave. Nice light touch with the graduated weathering and mud.
Now that this is completed, whats your next project?

Very nice 'Jimmy'! Are you planning any base for it? In my opinion weathered models look much better when standing on piece of groundwork.

Thanks for the comments guys,
Jeff, I will be adding some gear eventually, Ive got an accessory kit here..
Cliff, Thanks again for all your help. This had to be the easiest kit I have built.. I would do another in a heartbeat.
Frank, I am starting Academy's B29A Enola Gay for the Bombs Away campaign.. Might have to make a run to the city for some metallizer paints for the outer skin..
Piotr, Im not planning a base for it.. I just build'em then they sit on a shelf.. One of these days I may get around to it... Thanks again guys

Very nicely weathered Dave without overdoing it. The front wheels are especially nicely done as it reminds me of a construction lorry parked around my neighbourhood.
