This is how it all started...had a baby 6 months ago, so I figured what better time get back to one of the pleasures of my childhood...modeling.I picked up a Brewster Buffalo kit and while researching came across Jean-Luc's "Rescue Goose"...and Armorama. Next was Frank's "1/48th is coming"...quarter scale armor...I've got to try this! This is my first armor model and first completed kit in twenty years.(since I was 12) Please give me your honest wisdom...Thanks Nigel

Looks great to me.
I am in the same boat as you, except wihtout the new baby. Congratulations by the way.
I got back into this about a year ago, always did 1/48-1/32 aircraft. Have been toying with the idea of doing armor, actually started a KV-1, just ahven't had the guts to finish it yet. I'm somewhat hung up on the tracks, were yours the plastic wrap arounds like you get with Tamiya kits? I think you have done a great job on that kit.
Cheers and keep on building

First congrats for the babe.
How did you manage to live that long without building a kit ? :-)
Your model looks good to me. I won't speak about accuracy as I'm not an expert in WW2 stuff. Is it 1/48 or 1/35 ?

Looks very good; understated weathering, tools nicely picked out, decals look good. Excellent overall I'd say - you should be very pleased with it.
Congrats on the baby as well!

Overall looks really good, especially after a 20 year break. I think I see a little bit of silvering on the elephant behind the cleaning tools and at the edges of the red fender markings. A layer of gloss before decallling and some decal setting solution while you lay them down will correct that in future builds.
I do like those turtlle-looking Stugs!
