Hello
I joined the Russian Big and Beefy Campaign. I started building my BMP-1. I want to build a Polish one but I need reference pics of Polish Bmp's. So if anyone can help me I would be happy.
I want to put it in a tactical exercise scene. With a lot of foliage on the vehicle.

Hey
Sorry Mukund I am not that fast :-)

Modern polish camo is very similar to nato 3 tone but colours are a little different. Especially brown looks like more reddish. There aren't any official camo patterns but of course most of vehicles have similar spots layout. Spots can have soft or hard edges.
Have a look at this page:

Hello
It's been a while ago sinds I posted something here. But the first pics of my entry are here
Hope you like em......
The kit
The turret
The kits detail is very poor. So I made a few changes myself. After I studied tons of reference pics I made the following changes:
- Cutting away a bulge on the front side of the turret
- Deleting the launch rail of the sagger
- Drilled out the gun barrel
- Hinges along the turret
- Changed the place of the handgrip for opening the hatch
- Added wire on the launchrail
- Made new periscopes with pieces left of a PE set from a warrior
Special thanks for Piotr who helped me a lot on finding pics of this polish beast
Give me your thought
Greetings Roel

Looks good. You are reworking some of the turret details that need it, can't tell much from the photo of the Hull what you have changed there.
Keep at it and I look forward to seeing it in paint.

Hey Jacques
Thanks for the comments.
The hull has not been changed much so far. I have some new updates and a question. I changed the protection of the headlights with metal wire. You see on the left the metalwire protection. And the right the original.
I also made other handles on the hull. I just wonder if I have to make them smaller??? They might be to big.
Please give me your thought
Cheers Roel

The Headlight guards look good. Also, the grab handles look fine...they appear to be fairly substantial handles in real life, so they do not look incorrect.
Keep up the good work.

Hello everyone
I just want to keep you guys updated on the BWP model. I finished building it today A little late but I will finish it in time. Just didn't have much time to work on it the past weeks.
Changes on the hull are:
-Self made periscope caps
-I added the hinges for the shovel on the right
-Added wire on the exhaust. To bad I don't have wire for the other airintakes. Maybe I should remove the exhaust to. Don't know yet. (maybe someone can help me out )
-Added a electric wire on the spotlight
-Made new headlight covers from metal wire.
-And added 3 new handles on the top of the hull.
The pics:
Then I also changed (AGAIN) the little handles around the turret with smaller ones made from a piece of electric wire.
Hope you like the final result. I will let it dry the afternoon and paint it in the base colour this evening I hope. But I will keep you updated
Cheers Roel

Hello
Here are the pics of the finished model. I am happy with the result. Maybe a pitty that it has not been weathered but not all military vehicles are dirty :-)
The pics
Give me your thoughts???

Hi Roel!
I supposed you would make a vehicle from LITPOL battalion but this one is nice too It's clean but looks exactly like on photos from various public events and exhibitions. Good job!
