just a quick update on this project.

The bulk work has been done now and the detailing is due to start. The roof framework, rear deck, radiator and wheels are just placed for the photos.

The roof has yet to be covered with foil which will act as the canvas roof these vehicles had. There is still a lot of detailing to be done to the enginebay and also steering and brake lines to be added to the front wheels. Hinges and exterior bolt heads and nuts need fitting to the rear deck. Roof will not be fitted until the interior has been painted. A windscreen frame has got to be made as well.

As always you leave me speechless. Absolutely amazing devotion to detail, as well as patience is on display again.

If only I could get off this site and do a bit of modelling I might climb to half your standard.

Great and incredible quick build! You almost finished 'no-kit' in the same time I spent for assembling frame of my Bedford. Beautiful job, keep us updated!

Jeff that is what I meant about the photos. The brightness of the light shining off the white plastic has hidden the fact that all those panels and the rear bed are scribbed to represent the timber boards.

..... well what can I say. I´m kinda ashamed I did miss the first topic about another fantastic scratchbuilt.
What I really like is that you always manage to get some really nice and rare stuff to built and then you go absolutely scratch... just stunning work I can´t say more.
Comparing your work with the pics I can see you still have some things to do here and there and I´m looking forward to those installations too... Also I´m looking forward to the point you will bring some color into it´s life.

Another unique scratch build from "Da Master". As usual all your corners are crisp and sharp, no gaps. The curves on the front chassis and radiator are also true. I don't know how you do it. I bend some wire for a grab and break out in a sweat

However, the Down Under Environmental Health Agency is going to come over and inspect those drums - they are really funky looking !!!

got most of the details done tonight and should be able to finish any odd things tomorrow and fill any rough spots. Should be primed in a couple of days time.
