Hi there,
Here's my progress on M1A2. It was supposed to be an OOB build, but I passed by LHS and saw Tamiya's PE kit and just cant resist to grab them. Finished the anti-slip coating, followed by major kit building and aimed to start the coloring next week and finish this up by end of the month!
Cheers!

Thanks Erik,
I used Mr Surfacer 500, thinned 50% and sprayed 30cm at 40PSI! Quite an experience doing that for the first time round!
Cheers!

Strange, all I see are Red "X"s. They are nice looking Red "X"s though. All symetrical and square..... :-)

Hi Dan,
Yep, all I see is dreaded "Red X" I noticed that many but not all photos have turned into the "Red X' on just about every forum. I suspect it has to do with server change.
I think the photos that are still present are probably hosted from other photo sites like Photobucket ( Like my B-52 pictures) and are not effected by Armorama maintenance/change of servers.
Just my best guess,
Brian

Tried to go directly to the link and it seems to be incorrect as well. Any chance you could post an updated link to your images?

Looks good. Good job on the anti-slip. May want to sand/scrape off an arc to the front and right of the driver's hatch though. That area is usually kept free and smooth so the hatch can swing easily. Check out the diagram below for a good anti-slip layout.
Keep us posted on its progress.

Jeremy,
There's only 3 parts to replace as shown in the pix, no other goodies, am afraid. I was a bit disappointed as well, but for the price, S$9, quite worth it. I may not venture into other PE as I cant hold the build any longer.
Cheers!

Gino,
Thanks, I was quite edgey bout trying the anti slip but was glad I did! Your diagram was so detailed. But I may not implement the changes, as I just sprayed the first few base coat after I posted yesterday....
BTW, do you have anti slip diagram for M2 Bradleys? That will definitely be useful for me in future. I have that in the stash. Thanks!

Can't find any diagrams for the Bradleys. It is pretty similar though. It is on the flat, upper surfaces and the front sloped panesl. Hope that helps. You can look in here to see how I did it.
Good luck.
