If it was the pictures of my radio truck in the gallery section of armorama....yes....that truck came about from my band playing a 50th wedding anniversary just before the 50th anniversary of D Day....in the wedding photo the man was wearing a uniform....so I being a modeller asked a bunch of questions and he landed in the beach on D Day in that beast with the Canadian Army....the South Sask Reg't....as for other units using it....I'm sure they did.....but can't say for sure....he had 1 very small grainy picture of it....and the rest was out of his head.....had to call him and go to his house many times before I was done......I gave it to him and a year later he died and his widow gave it back to me.

hi grant
i saw your pic of the dio you talking about.Really nice. But the pic i talking about is from a used book i bought called (in french) "illustrated history of the canadian army over-sea 1939-1945" in a picture showing canadian soldier in holland you can see in the background what i suppose (it's not really clear) to be a wc-54.
About your dio, did you find other reference for the dodge ( like the interior)???

No....all the interior was built from info picked out of Mr. Palladin's head....the 1 photo he had only showed the machine gun on the back door that you could see......bad pic and small.
Since doing that diorama I've seen and heard of these used for supply trucks widely used by the Canadian army too....I have the same book you have but in english....I believe the pic you are talking about is one of these used in the supply role.
