Here's two photos of the Tamiya IS3 so far I am debating on if I want to add the figure that comes with the kit I am hoping to get some FruilModel tracks for it That way the tracks will have a good sag to them I am going to come up with a what if story for it Ukranian seperatists army trying to break away from Stalin
I would like to add a richchet mark to it On the second photo I added a black mark to the area I want to add the mark to What would be the best way? BTW,the fit of the kit is great The barrel is gray because of the Mr Surfacer
I didn't have the barrel halves lined up properly when gluing them

Zod,I knee knee.A gouge going in that direction, might take out the lifting ring where you have the line.looks like a good location.

Maybe you could bounce a Dremel to make gouge marks

What I was thinking was that as the turret was turning,a high velocity round glanced off it It will give Ursa a scar to add to her beauty :-)
I'll practice using a dremel ball file on an old model first
mmhmm

Chad,
I built this model as well and I really enjoyed it. The barrel was a problem though but I just used a nail file and Mr surfacer to smooth things out.
I like your build and hope you enjoy the campaign.
Cheers.
