Does anyone know the actual FS number for modern Canadian Armour. I'd be a lot easier than eyeballing it

As strange as this sounds... ask the maintainers. They usually have cans of the stuff around for when they have to do repairs. Alternatively, you could ask over at Svc Bn or at GS Bn. :-)

Thanks Mike, when I get back to work I'll ask them. When we slap on paint, I think someone just goes down to Canadian Tire and picks up a can there :-)

There's another option that I thought of today. If you have access to a computer at work, call up the CGCM (Canadian Government Catalog of Materiel). Do a keyword search on "paint green" and you might come up with the right number. Let me know, and if you were unsuccessfull, I will check it out when I return to work in a couple of weeks.

Strong contender is on this week and last week I was keeping the Cpl - Ptes in the platoon busy while th eNCO's were doing PDR's. Nex week should be a little less hectic.

From what I've been able to find, the green is FS34064 and the black is FS37038. As you are aware, we don't use brown any more.

I don't think we even use black anymore. Every LAV I've seen is straight green but thanks for the numbers
