Great job Andy. I like the weathering on the upper surfaces. What did you use for the chipped paint effect?

Hi Ted,
Thanks.
The paint chipping was done with EZ mask. I sprayed Alclad Aluminuim, put on blobs of EZ mask, sprayed the top coat then with my finger and my tweezers peeled the mask off. So far i have found it one of the best and easiest methods to use.

Interesting subject. Japanese planes are often overlooked and most simply build a Zero. Nice to see a nice looking Betty!!

Hi andy!
Nice one!
I know the job one has to do to build this kit. I saw one lately at the Thionville Show and I can say it's a big bird!
Is there any chance you can put a zero aside your Betty and shoot a picture to see the difference?

Hi Alan,
I must agree with you about the Japanese planes being overlooked, IMHO i think part of the reason is the lack of good colour photos and reference material available.

Hi Jean-Luc,
Thanks. Your wish is my command :-) .
On the left of the Betty is a 1/48 Zero and on the right is a 1/72 (German) Spitfire. ( As far as i know these three aircraft never flew together :-) :-) ).
