Finally got more light green paint and was able to get more work done.
The interior and the turret are almost complete. Just have a little touching up to do and a few more pieces.
I’m starting to think I’ll be able to get this one done on time.
As always i appreciate any questions or comment good or bad.

Looking good so far. Good job on the interior. When is the vehicle supposed to depict? Reason I ask is that the blue bands on the TOWs are for inert, practice missiles. If it is supposed to be in a combat scenario, the bands should be brown and yellow, like below.

I’m not exactly sure right now. Probably what ever the unit the decals that came with it are from. Just haven’t really looked at them for awhile.
I’ll have to check them out when I get a chance.

Can you tell me which companies were equipped with the M2A0 during the gulf war?

Go to page 3 for the bumper numbers and page 5 for the chevron of my article here and you got all the bumber numbers for one of the Infantry Battalions within 3rd Brigade. The Chevrons go on the left and right side armor skirts and one on the rear ramp.

Its Academys M2 Bradley.
It’s a nice kit with lots of detail and goes together easy. Also only costs about $15USD.

Here are some new pictures of it.
The interior is completed now except to add the cap on the night vision sight (Parts in the mail thanks to Epi. Thanks again) and I’ll be moving on to the outside now.
I also have the turret almost complete. Today a sculpted the bag for over the back of the Tow launcher. I’ll admit its not the greatest but this was my first attempt at sculpting.
As always any questions or comments are welcome.

Thanks guys.
Pete you can do all the nitpicking you want. I won’t mind.
I’m planing on getting the 2 haves together and puttyed by the end of this week (don’t worry I’ll still be able to get that cover in there) and then have the outside painted the sand and add all the little parts out there next week. After that it will be the tracks, markings and weather.
If I still have time I may try scratching some stowage but it all depends on the time.

I appreciate the thought even if it is a little late. :-)
Actually I’m just planing on trying to sculpt some of the bags I’ve seen hinging off of them and perhaps see if there’s anything of interest in the spare box that can be added.
I don’t plane on loading it up to much.
But any suggestions on what could be added are welcome.

Just take a look at the pictures of the bradley's today. Nothing has changed on the ways the gear is stowed. Just go about it as if you were loading up your own vehicle. Where would you put stuff, how would you secure it, etc.

Oh dear god. I don’t think you realize what your saying.
Every thing would be duck taped on including the dead deer on the hood. :-)
But I do get the point. Thanks.

That looks great. I was just wondering whether the interior is part of the academy kit or if it is a seperate kit. If so which kit is it? Cheers. nick :-)

Yes the interior comes with the kit. And I don’t think I added or modified anything in there except to patch the holes up front in the hull with plastic from a spent shotgun shell. (Used to hold the large amount of putty in place.)
