Hi all,
This is my WTTN entry. It's a scartch build bridge erection boat (used to push floating-bridge-pontoons in place) It will (eventually ) be in a diorama based on this picture (a raft using two pontoons and a bridge erection boat):
So now it's on with the pontoons
The boat:
I hope you like it (sofar) and I'll keep you informed on any further progress on the raft.
Kind regards
Mark

Excellent scratch building. The paint is tops also. I live the foot prints all over the decking. Great touch.

Thanks guys! I'm glad you like it. I've already picked my next project (euhm... this bridge boat's not even finished, guess I'll be working on several projects at the same time again ) it'll be a minesweeper (drone) boat, here is one:
(picture's from www.brownwater-navy.com) but that will take some time to finish I'm afraid.
Again; thanks for your replies!
kind regards
Mark

Thanks guys!
The boat will be in a diorama eventually but the base it's on in the bottom picture is just a wooden board thats gloss black painted. It's not ment to resemble water the board was just lying in the garden so I placed the boat on that . (I have to admit it does look a little like water )
Btw I still haven't decided if the raft (this boat will be part of) will be in a action scene (with splashing water and waves) or in a more relaxed scene, anchored at the edge of the Saigon river.
