Looks good to me. Did you use the article in FSM from March '95 for the patterns and such? I used them for mine and it came out great. Good job on yours. The weathering looks realistic to me. Maybe too much for my tastes, but still very good. Just don't try to park it in the motorpool looking like that. Sergeant Major and/or the XO will have your a$$.

By the way, US designation is M728 CEV, for Combat Engineer Vehicle. I know you Brits like to use AEV, but not on this side of the pond.

Steve, Why in the world is that Ugly baby (in a good sense) parked on a Golf Course???? They will so have your "backside!!!!!" Tear up the turf, yank the stump, and SCREAM "Fore" as that baby drops one on the 18th!!!!!!!!!!!!

:-) ....Gino,
Shucks !!! -my big finger on wrong key
Got a mistake --should be CEV
Off top of my head-yes -out of the blue
This pattern of cammo -is nothing I knew
Just sprayed as I felt -sand -green and brown
With lashings of thinners to water it down
A dio will help-to get rid of the frown
When I lay it out in a "Wash-down"
Should keep the heat off when it is done
Know what Sar ' Maj'rs like --I was one :-)
Thanks for the comments -they're very profound
Appreciate pointers from "Over the Po-nd"...

Good deal. By patterns, I meant the plans in FSM for the conversion. From what I could see, I thought the paint sheme was a washed-out MERDC scheme.

Golf Courses are made to be destroyed by Army Engineers and Armoured Units... :-) . I attended a briefing some weeks ago held by a 1. Sgt from 3. Armored Division (US) and he told us he had held manouver training with golf cars to practice basic formations with the M1 A1 Abrams...

However, great work again Steve, even though I still have problems to understand why you ruined a perfectly good paintjob with purpose... :-) :-) :-)

Nice weathering.Looks like it was driving around for a few minutes at Hohenfels.
I would switch the searchlight for one from the Tamiya M-48,its a lot better. (++) (++)
