This interior from the Tank Workshop is giving me a hard time so I have put it aside for awhile. There are alot of changes and scratchbuilt details that were necessary for simple things like fit and accuracy.TW kit was also missing some pieces. Also included are pics of some othe the other AM parts I will use.

Oberst - That looks great.
The headphones look scratch built? Could you pls give a brief description of how you built them? I'd appreciate it.

Sorry JPeiper, the headphones were scavenged from an Aber M20 armoured car PE set, not scratchbuilt. The rest of the items on the wall with the headphones were made with styrene sheet and spare PE. You can buy individual headphone sets from Aber I think.

Very Nice Interior, Andrew, definitely beats my Tiger Interior. I like the way you did with the scratch build and added PE to it.
Now, hurry up and finish it sometimes soon!!!!
Good Work!

I have a question. Why is it that tank interiors always look so much nicer than the interior of truck cabs?
Very nice my friend. As I am not an armor builder how do you paint the interior? airbrush the main coat and than detail with a brush? I really would like to see this when it has been painted. Maybe you could give me some tips on how it's done so I can do the same on my softskins.

Most of the parts pictured are not glued down to the body of the tank which will allow for each part to be picked out and detailed with a brush. The rest, as you mentioned is airbrushed in the base colour.

Wow great detail
I've been wanting to do an AFV with interior detail for a while now, and seeing what you have done just makes me want to do it even more :-)
Looking forward to more pics as you get along with the project.

:-) When I was one with the dark side I started to build the interior to an M1 but gave up when I moved into the light. I might now have a trip back to the dark side, to see if I can pick up where I left off. Excellant work.

Oberst.....Looks goods. Love all that AM and Pe. Truely a gem.....put to the side in favor of what,I ponder.
Holdfast.....you should never work in the dark. It is bad for your eyes and if you think the color is off in the dark....wait till it hits the light. I figure that a 100 watt light bulb would surfice. Also use a Reveal light bulb. These lights cut the yellow that other lght bulbs and.in perticular, hallogens provide. i figure that this is what you are refering to by the darkside. I do believe so because, the only other darkside I know of is evil, wicked, winged thingies. And i know you wouldn't be talking about that! Would you?!!!!!

Well jackhammer, one of us is confused, I was brought up to believe that the force functioned for good among the winged things of this world. I certainly felt evil while modelling tracked thingies. As you are a pig and I am a wolf I will eat you before I believe you.

Looking good there mate!
Don't forget the interior is painted in IVORY or the look will be too stark.
Are you gonna paint the floor and gearbox, engine compartment Red Oxide?
