Rudi,
Once again: thanks for this very nice campaign that I enjoyed very much!
The aspect "no WW2" was a good choiche: Africa turned out to have so many more interesting subjects for modellers!
Si Ya!

Great campaign Rudi.
Will there be another next year?
I really enjoyed researching the African aircraft used, and it does make a lovely change from the usual subjects we normally do.

I missed this thread when it appeared - it's been a busy few weeks and I had no hope of bringing my already late effort to the finish line. Congrats to all who made it, they're all great models of unusual subjects. Rudi, thanks for running a very interesting and enjoyable campaign, I wish I coulda finished but just ran out of modelling time.
This is as far as I got on my Ford armoured car as brought to the Congo by the Irish contingent of the UN in 1961. I'll get it finished eventually but the best part of this campaign was the knowledge gained from reading up on a piece of African history I had heard of but knew little about.

Thanx again for a nice campaign!
Bud1 - Perhaps we should apply for a UN campaign for next year!? I had originally planned to build a Saab 29 Tunnan operating with UN markings in Congo during the early 60's, but I didn't get around to it...
There are plenty of nice aircraft and vehicles that have served under the UN flag!
Cheers!

Sad to have missed finishing this one, but my new job rather got the better of me and my (previously student) time
