Hope it works this time. Here is a progress shot of my TUA based on the Academy M113 kit. The upper hull and turret are scratchbuilt and there is a detailed interior. the glacis and engine deck are from a Tamiya kit because my dog got hold of the Academy parts and chewed them to bits.

Hey fredenburg. It doesnt work to put the page address in the [img] formula. Right click on the actual picture and click on preferences. Then copy the url of the picture from here. You need to pull down while copying as it doesnt show the full url. Hopefully you understand what I mean.
Nice model and nice subject by the way!

Oh WOW !
I love the interior. Is that all scratchbuilt, After market parts, kit or a combo of the forementioned?

Looks Cool

Your TUA is great. Having spent some time in 1 RCR AAP Pl. I've always wanted to make one but am not quite ready to scratch build all those parts. Awesome job.

I have some drawings of the actual vehicle so I could make it as accurate as possible. The interior is all scratcbuilt. i modified the missile tubes from the Tamiya TOW Mutt and cast them in resin. The tripod has a PE body which I produced myself in a fit of overenthusiasm. I've stuck the lid down, but the hatches will all be left open leaving the interior visible. I plan on painting it with the 3 colour NATO SCAPP scheme with SFOR markings.

Not yet. sounds like a good potential product. We have to get the C1 off the ground first.

Paul, looking forward to that. Right now I'm converting a Leo A5 to a C2. The TUA was getting fustrating so I put it aside for a bit.

I've been working on it off and on for the last several years, in between deployments and so on. I'd say there is about 100 hours in it so far. At least my wife knows where I am.
