Panther A late type, 12th Panzer Regiment, La Villeneuve, Normandy, 1944.
Its Dragons 1/35 Panther A late type with an added cavalier zimmerit set, Eduard P.E and metal barrel.
Painted in Tamiya acrylics, W+N oil washes, MIG powders for the weathering.
I have really enjoyed building this Panther, so much so that i think i will order another one .
Think i need a another coat of dull coat on it.

Great looking panther. I can tell you used decals for the numbers though. I have talked with a couple of the guys in the Dallas platoon as I am attempting something similar in the future and wonder how to get decals to conform to zimmerit. A daunting task indeed. Sometimes lots of microsol/set works. Their recommendation was to use stencils and paint them on. I also am going to try those scratch on numbers or just individual numbers to lessen the amount of decal film.

Thanks Steve.
The decals were the only thing that i couldn't get settled properly, no matter how much micro-sol and set i used. Next time i think i will paint the markings on.

Good looking Panther. Check the Zim at the bottom front corner of the turret, it looks as though it may be curling away from the surface.
Cheers,
Charles
