Hello, here is my DML T-34. I'm more or less happy with it with the exception of the tracks and wheels...I just can't get them looking appropriatly muddy. I'm open to opininion and I'll post more photos if any of you can give me some tips on how I can improve my model, and when I learn how to properly operate my new camera. Anyway, enjoy.
Ralph

Hi Ralph,
I'm not to sure about the armor, but I might be able to help with the mud.
If you use any type of powders for finishing your models try this;
Put a little of some darker color or mud color, (Your preference) on a piece of paper, wet your brush with water, mix in the powder with the brush and use this to add to the cracks and such on your wheels. After it drys it stays put better and and gives it that built up look. You'll have to try a few times before you get the desired look.
This site explains it better, MIG Powders
Good luck,
Bob

Well if this is muddy enough for you:
here is a simple and cheap way:
Take a small jar, mix hot water and whiteglue, add fine garden earth in it until you get a "muddy" mix, apply the mix over the wheels/tracks with an old brush, when fully dried weater some more with pastels.
cheers
Mirko
