This is my current work in progress. I'm using the DML Ardennes Tiger-B, the version with the single link track.
Instead of building what's in the box, I want to create one of the very late Tiger-B's. Possibly this configuration never left the factory.
The modifications are so far:
- Trackhangers on the turret from 4 x 2 sets to 6 x 2 sets
- Deleted the jack and jackblock trackmounting-cable, filling the holes
- No AA-ring on cupola, filled the holes for the AA-ring
- Ribbed front fenders (still to do)
- Bevelled corners on rear turrethatch
- Added wire to conical bolts on the mantlet
- Added rainguard over the periscope in the turretfront (part is in the kit, but listed as not used)
I've used the Friulmodelismo ATL-37 set which is a beauty, added Voyager PE, Armorscale barrel.
I welcome any and all comments!
Thanks for looking.

Thanks.
Voyager is a very well done set, it provides not only the PE but several additional bits like plastic rod, sheet, metal cables and some tubing all to be used on the model.
It's got a lot of parts, some tiny. But it doesn't go overboard like Aber with for instance the clasps. they are detailed, but they seem a little less of a hassle than the Abers.
Tinniest parts have got to be the screws of the turret-fan cover. They are miniscule.
Instructions are not very good. It gives incorrect partnumbers, and it also doesn't use everything that is on the frets.
If you've got the right info, you can work it out yourself.

Thanks for the update/advice.
I know what you mean about the tiny parts. Making the brake, gas and clutch pedals for my Chevy 30cwt nearly dove me mad is are the flimsy replacement handles.
The instructions aren't always clear on my Eduard set either. Just once I'ld like to have a set of good instructions.
Good Luck

Excellent looking Tiger B. One thing though, did they not have a post in place of the AA turret ring? I seem to remember reading that they did this on the final batch of Tiger B's.

Yes, but I still need to add that. As a lot of other things...
