Hello to everyone out there..
This weekend I decided to put aside the more complex projects I have been working on and did a small build that I finished in just a couple of days.
This little dandy is the ZIS-5V. a simplified version of the ZIS-5 Russian truck. The kit is in 1/72nd scale and is manufactured by PST. The kit has about 50 parts and the molding is ok though there isn't a lot of detail and there is a bit of flash esp on the wheels. I had to add some things to the kit such as the windows and driveshaft and better axles.
All in all I don't think its too bad for my first 1/72nd.. one other note.. the decals on these kits are rather thick and don't really look that great. I think next time i'll make my own.
Comments welcome.... as always...

Yeah, you've got some serious silvering. You may need to slice the decal along the wood lines. I've got a love-hate relationship with PST kits. Overall it looks OK.
