guys
Hope you guys dont mind this what if.
This is my idea for awhatif british heavy tank armed with a fictional 5" gun
like the jagdtiger.
It has a couple of typhoon rockets for good measure as accurate ranging tables were beinging developed at the end of the war but i dont know if ill keep these or not.
The turret is based on the basic black prince shape uparmoured with my own layout on top,
i use the academy tiger tracks , tools and american machine gun set.
and resin copies of various bits and pieces of different kits i made my self
its not ready for painting yet and needs a lot of tidying up.
The whole thing is made in plasticard and the original hull was originately a bit shorter thats why some of it has been painted.
The markings are Irish Guards Armoured of course
Look where i live
regards andrew

This one looks really cool, I think you should give it the blue and tan desert scheme

A real Franenstein model! Not too sure it looks typically British though ... its starting to look more German ... pantherish maybe? Love the back deck ... those handles and hinges look amazing! The gun barrell looks huge on the shallow turret IMO .... but at least nobody can say its wrong . Looking forward to the paintjob .... what figures will you use .. some "what if" camo would be cool!

Frank
thanks for your interest
i see your point on the panther look
its the widened achillied mantlet and sloping armour i think
the engine deck was easy enough to do and it took a bit of time
but im happy with it
Im not sure what way the cammo wil be done
They did a few 3 tone Cromwells in ww2
but im not sure yet
Regards from County Armagh
