Just posted some pictures of my first model after a 5 year break from the hobby. It´s the AFV Club kit with a figure from Resicast with a Hornet head.
The model took about 70hrs to complete including the figure.

Wow! In black and white you could easily pass it off as a photo from WW2! Incredible model!!

Hi Andreas,
Thanks for posting the pictures, a really nice build, both the figure and the kit look excellent.
Will you be adding some stowage to round it off?
You haven't lost you skill despite the 5 year break, thanks for sharing this one, nice to ses another Brit tank on the block.
Cheers
Al

Very good work. Those hornet heads are the business aren't they and the British tanker set is one of my favourites.
Is that the .30 calibre mg that comes with the kit. It's very nicely finished

Thanks all for the encouraging comments. I usually paint the face of the figure in acrylics, oils tend to smear and blend all over the face (atleast for me) , oh I used a little spot of pinkish oil color under the cheekbones other than that its all acrylics.
I will not add any stowage to this tank, as I am bustling with new insperation and want to go on after the long break, this one will stay "clean" .
To answer the question about the MG, its the one that comes with the kit, I hollowed out the barrel end, Painted it with Andrea gun metal and used MIG´s gunmetal pigment here and there.
Be Safe
