Guys
i made this one out of the left over m4a3 hull and m4a1 turret
from 2 italeria kits
the other hull and turret were used to make the fabled m4a1 firefly
hope you like it
Its not finished yet
and i dont like the tracks
i think ill put some vinyl m4 british tracks by AFV club on it and an academy 50 cal from the boxset
it will have a British crew with British Experimental Establishment markings on it on trials
as we had 7 or 10 depending on the source.
the whole thing was brush painted with humbrol enamels
regards andrew

I did the same thing with an Italeri Marine M4A3 hull and the Italeri M4A1 76mm turret. I was not so lucky with the leftover Italeri M4A1 hull and Italeri M4A3 75mm turret as it's not a realistic swap without making the DD mods

Coming along. Just touchup the tool handles, MG & barrels, and glass around the cupola. I have some scrap clear plastic that I form into a block and insert into the gunners sight housing. I prepaint the inside of the housing gloss black. You can drill out the headlights and use white glue to form a lens. It is the fine fiddley things that seem to take the most time.

It's looking really great! My only comment is that many British tankers during WWII did not employ a .50 machine gun upon the turret of their tank as they felt that it got in the way. Many either replaced the .50 with that of a .30 or simply did not use a machine gun all together. I know that I have seen far more photographs of British tanks without .50 machine guns than with them. Either way, it's just a comment. Think nothing of it.
