Hello one and all !!,
Started this a WW1 Tadpole on Sunday morning. I have sprayed it in Revell Airbrush No.39 Dark Green Matt. According to the instructions no one seems to know the correct colour for the tank so I just made it up !!
Its an awful kit to put together, the tracks are a nightmare plenty of superglue needed !!. It was well worth the hassle though as it does build into a HUGE kit , half as long again as a Tamiya 1/35th T72 !!. I have some kitbags and stuff to go on top, and maybe some decals, although I have no idea what to put on, maybe some "names" from some un-used decals from a Tamiya Cent. Then its weathering time..........
I just noticed that someone else has posted pictures of there Tadpole on here !! In different a different colour but it too has the red and white stripes on the front, how bizzare !! Great minds and all that.............
Anyway hope you like it
Cheers
Kev

Nicely done overall. Couple items you should tend to, though. The exhaust needs clean up. Big seam on the front muffler and the remains of attachement point about halfway between the mufflers. There are also a few attachment points on tracks that should be cleaned up. Some mud could be added to hide the gaps inthe tracks.
I'd be leery of adding stowage to this. These beasts were crawled quite slowly and would never be far from home base, unlike tanls in WWII forward. What few pictures I've seen of WWI tanks don't show any stowage on them. The role of these beasts was to lead infantry across No Man's Land and the wire and advances were measured in yards, not miles.
