Here are a few pics of my Tamiya M4 Sherman (early).
Nothing fancy, oob. I know that this kit has shortcomings but, I built it as is to improve my basic skills. (I normally do a/c) It was fun to build.

Hey there..
thats a great looking sherman.. only thing I could suggest for further skill improvement is to drill out your Machine gun barrels..

DOH!!!!
I totaly forgot the mg barrels.
Do you have any suggestions for a drill bit size?
I also think I need improvement on my mud-slinging skills.
IMO, weathering tanks is the most difficult skill to learn.

A small one... Sorry Sarge IT needs to be very small, like the thickness of 8 amp fuse wire... Remember the hole is much tinier than the muzzle end; too often they are drilled out too much...
Good looking build mate. There are many things to tweak and correct on this kit alone, but I won't go into it all as this is your practice...
Basically, the sandshields were almost always totally removed and this later became US doctrine, as it interfered with maintenance...As for mud-slinging, it is an art to get that "organised randomness":P You can start by not having such a consistent 'hightide' mark...
I have a photo of this particular tank bogged/abandoned in Italy... Have yet to do a camo pattern on an M4, and you just wade in and do it on your first! Well done
Cheers
