Hi Dave ,
Looking good so far, I'm glad you started it, actually got mine after reading your review (not actually MG version but the artillery tractor but a Fiat anyway :-)).
One thing to lookout in those kits, if the rear is solid resin , then the rear axle is too thin to support the weight and the wheels tend to camber (hope this is the proper english word) badly. I'm still pondering replacing mine with one scratchbuilt with plastic stock and wire.
Looking forward to seeing your painted up Dave!
Cheers
Greg

Thanks for the tip on the rear end Grzegorz,
You're right it is a solid block of resin back there.
I also have the 508 pick up truck, which I haven't started yet.

Well, got some paint on it, still have to do a little light weathering. Also started on a simple base. Still a few do-dads to add. Just a few fast photos.

Wow that looks great Grumpy.
What uniforms did the drivers wear?
I an just imagine one of those MG cars trying to "stare down" a Stug :-) :-)

The figures that came with it are basically recasts of the real early dreadful Tamyia sitting Germans, uniforms look like there were minor changes made to them, with the addition of Polish helmets. It maybe a while; if ever before I do them, but I'm on the look out for at least one decent, standing polish figure. So if anyone knows of any decent Polish figures let me know. Since I'm planning a "pre-war" scene weathering is going to be extremely light as is the amount of litter on the base.

Very nice work Dave. I love these small and unusual vehicles. The base looks really good, could you give us a few details on that please.
Not easy to find polish wwII figures. Hornet makes a tank officer, don't know if he might be of use.
