Hey Guys,
Looking for some information, please. A friend of mine wants to build a Vietnam vignette and wants to know which version of the M48 was used there and what the differences were between the Army and Marine versions. Also, I know Tamiya makes one but are there others ? And how accurate is the Tamiya model? I'm in Iraq and don't have any of my references with me and my friend is new to armor modeling. I greatly appreciate your help, thank you.
With Regards,
Rich

Tamiya's M48A3 is the correct version. It builds into either an Army or USMC version (they were the same). It is a pretty good kit. Only major issues are the suspension is about 3mm too high and the turret is about 2mm too squat. Both easy fixes. If you don't care about those, it look good OOB as well.

Hey Gino,
Thank you so much----your help is greatly appreciated. I'll pass it on to my friend. I'll try to get him to post pictures of it when it's finished.
