bebe - rip it - how???? Nice build. I hope my P IV comes out this well.
I'm on a kick for attaching spare tracks, but you shut me down on that too with the bar on the right side.
The scheme is well done, the weathering is good, the detail is good, the construction is clean and well done.

Great job and nice job with the air brush. Are you getting the hang of it yet?

As I mentioned in the chat room, I think this is a really nice tank. The weathering looks good and I like the rust on the tracks. I think I might try this kit sometime and I hope I can make as good a job as you of it. Well Done :-)

I love this model ....... great first attempt. For me... the only thing I would change would be the colour of the tracks. They seem to be the same colour as the tank itself. I would prefer them to be more rusty. Maybe its just the colour i see here or in the photo. Maybe its just me!

Nice neat build Bebe...good weathering techniques, clean construction, great track sag. I do however agree with Plasticbattle about the tracks....could use a little more rust kinda sorta maybe.

Looks good Bebe, I would tone the shine down a little, perhaps more matt varnish and then another go with the pastels especially on top for a more dusty look. Fancy doing slight paint chipping?
Nit picking on a very nice build. Thanx for the piccies.

How would you suggest I do the paint chips if I haven't prepped the undercoats for such a procedure? I'd like to try it on this before I move to my next, more expensive model.

Thanks for the tips so far all,

Only thing I would say is that I would of used PE for the model. Great job on a OOB.

OK...took your suggestions and continued to weather/flatten the finish. These are High-res so they may take a bit depending on your conneciton. Let me know what I should do next?

Very good improvements. I think it looks very good, not that the first round was bad.

Loks great overall. Agree on the track color, I do mine in gunmetal metalizer and do very little rust on the running gear. I like the runoff on the spare track on the glacis plate. With due respect, I'm not a big fan of paint chipping. It's very easily overdone and often looks bogus. Exposed metal would almost immediately be rusted. Look at cars that have been in an accident or scraped without being quickly repainted. The metla becomes dark reddish brown in a matter of a couple days in any kind of wet environment. In short order, rust streaks ensue. As Neil Young says, "rust never sleeps".

hey bebe, do not despair, i have come to your rescue. the 24th Pz Div. is known to have painted their panzers in dark grey even to the end of the war. so do not fret and put 24th decals on the front and back.

BEBE, That is a massive improvement. The flat (matte) finish is more realistic. I appreciate that you didn't prepare the undercoat to do chipping but you could hint at some chips with a very thin brush and some very dark paint on SOME corners together with some rusted up chips.
How about some light coloured pastels on top surfaces?

LOOKS VERY GOOD! Well done.
