Tom
I see you have not had a reply yet. Perhaps you could give a little more information. Where did you buy them, and what for.
I have done a search and found nothing for Andrea Transfers, just figures.
Cheers

Hello Mattie,
I'm presuming you mean these Dry Transfers ?
http://www.andrea-miniatures.com/market/AspsProductos/Listado.asp?IdColeccion=403
As far as I know Dry Transfers are rub down ones. You place them on the model face down and rub something blunt over the back of them. I have used some of the 'letter set' rub down transfers you get from stationary shops but always found them quite difficult to work with and position them exactly where you need them.
Hope this is of some help.
Chris

Hi Tom,
I've only used the Archers Fine Transfers. They can be applied Dry or Wet and come with reasonably clear instructions.
Most important point when applying them dry is to ensure that the surface is clean and free from dust or greese. Cut out the transfer and position it where you want. You may need a little bit of tape to hold it in place and rub over it with a soft pencil until it has separated from the carrier film completely. When I used them it took a bit of practice with one or two to get the hang of it and putting dry transfers in difficult places is probably a non, no.
Don't know if you have the same type but I hope this helps a bit. The finish is great but they are not that easy to work with IMHO.
Cheers

Alan's instructions above are waht you need to do with Andrea transfers. As he said, make sure you have them EXACTLY where you want them. There's no adjusting them like waterslide decals. Also, be sure you burnish the entire surface on the back of the image. The beauty of these is they are much thinner than decals and have no carrier film so they can't silver. You also only need a clean surface, no need to get a glossy finish like with waterslides.
