You want to know what to do next? OK pack it up real careful in a box and mail it to me. In return, I'll mail my unbuilt kit back to you. Guy, you have done some incredible work. I'ld just spray it lightly with OD paint to get the color right. Maybe a few touch up highlights. Don't do too much weathering, you can get by if someone citisizes by saying its standing inspection. A-1 best thing I've seen on this net I think even Tony Greenland would be impressed
I agree. nice jb on the 50. that makes my stuff look like some cheap plastic army men thing #:-)

Back home = back to the workbench. Here there's more of the progress...
This is an overall view of the sub assemblies after the first coat:
And these are more detailed ones:
One of the tracks is not completed (I mean the first coat)
This is the almost finished 0.50. Ufortunately during drybrush one piece disappeared and I haven't find it yet.
Hope you still like it...

And you were wondering if you should paint that - HOLY COW that's good.
The rust on the muffler is outstanding. The various tones of OD are subtle and well done.

Scott,
in my view rust is one of the easiest things you can do. I just prime the part, then I mix Testors "Rust" with talc powder to achieve the right pattern then I apply it wit a very soft flat brush. Once dried I drybrush it with black, a bit more intensely around the exaust, and a bit around to give the overall feling. Last pass is missing, and I'll do vith a very light drybrush of orange. All of them are enamels. Hope this can help...
Ciao

Well..., now that you have lost a part to the .50 cal I'm not so sure I like it anymore... #:-) #:-)
Great and I mean GREAT work!!! I was in agreement with you before that I like the look of an unpainted, multi-medium kit, but you have definitely done justice with this.... be proud!!!!

Thanks for the feedback tip on the rust. Talc - I've got to start using that. I have heard of used in various places but never 'just done it'. So I'll have to get off my back side and do it.
Thanks

Slodder,
I found something even better than talc! My kids came back from school today with some extremely fine sand. I tried to transform it in rust and it's outstanding!!! Is the sand they use to make drawings with. I'll ask the school for the right name of it and then I'll post it.

Fabio,
Such an outstanding model.
(drooling)
I wanted to suggest you to leave it unpainted, but decided against that. This is a decision only you could make.
But if I had known you were such a skilled painter, I never would have doubted : PAINT IT !
Sublime modeling, amici. Congratulations.

Thanks very much for your comments, I'm actually quite happy with the finished model, but I cannot decide if it was better unpainted or painted...

I really don't know what is more impressive, your modelling or photographic skills. Both are outstanding. Amazed.
