This is the Italeri M113A1 kit which I picked up for €4. It’s my first modern armour kit and it’s interesting to be in a position where I know nothing about a vehicle. I’ve been asking a few questions online and in future I’ll have more patience when someone asks a question about Shermans to which I think everyone should know the answer from birth I still have a lot of work to do on the kit such as hatches, tracks and fenders. Oh and I somehow managed to lose one of the rear lights which I only noticed in the photos.
The screens are the Eduard zoom set TP 093 courtesy of Vinnie Brannigan. They are marked as being for the Tamiya kit but fit this one perfectly. They are supposed to be self adhesive weren’t very sticky so I used ( too much )CA glue.
Apart from the screens and some tools from the spares box I’m building it OOB. A set of Legend stowage is winging its way to me from Luckymodels and I’m trying to come up with a crew from Verlinden bits and pieces. It’ll be finished as a US Army vehicle 1968-69 in Vietnam.

Looks good so far. Any shots of what you've done with the interior?

Check your references or ask here. I'm not sure those water cans on the back are period correct for 1968-69.

Thomas I just gave the interior a quick paint job, because I plan to fill the hatches with crewmen.
Al, I checked and was told they're ok. Plus they're visible in some photos from that period.
