Look very nice

A few closeup and some pics of the fighting compartment would be appreciated.

How was the construction?

Here are a few shots of the fighting compartment at an earlier stage.

I found the construction quite straightforward although some though had to be given to the painting process but i really enjoyed building it.

Love the gun!

Outside armour a little gloss maybe but fantastic camo.

Any plans for a base. I could see it looking sweet on a dark industrial setting.

Keep it up

Nice paint-job Sam, I guess your just at the weathering stage, that would explain why there is some glossiness to the superstructure and wheels but that should settle down with a flat topcoat.

I've been watching Sam work on this and i know for a fact that she is still weathering it and is still yet to do the flat varnish on it (as soon as i have repaired my airbrush. )

Hi Sam,

For the first piece of armour that you have done, your figure and aircraft skills have stood you in really good stead, as the Wespe is starting to turn out very nicely. Your cam pattern is excellent and once you have the weathering on and the final flat coat, I think that you should maybe look at placing it in a small diorama. I guess that you have to decide where it is operating and look at the weathering from there.
The trouble is that if you enjoy building these pieces of artillery, you will soon find yourself buying others like the Hummel, or the Marder series and not to forget the others that Trumpeter are offering.

Lets see some more of your progress soon.
