Well, I know the Hummer campaign is over and I miss another, but I am going to finish this one.

Here are the completed fuel can rack and spare tire mount that I decided toadd at the last minute:

Also a last minute addition to my M1114 is this BFT/SINCGAR mount with PLGR.
Here is what the hummer looked like before:

Here is what it looked like after I finished the mount and before paint:

And here it is after I painted the mount and added all the cables:

I am currently wiring the smoke poppers and then i will call it quites and then I will finish the detail painting and start weathering it.

Aww mate, why didnt you show me some of the same in my campaigns eh? :-)

Exquisite wiring there Pete! I guess it helps that you have the wiring manuals of the SINCGARS eh!

Great work!

BTW, sent you a PM.

Pete, you disappoint me! Neither the PLGR or the BFT is turned on. With all that work you could at least show the correct grid and digital map... :-) :-) :-)
Seriously: That is great work, and will look awesome when finished. Love the marking on the cables. Keep us posted.

Erik :-)

ROFLMAO Erik! Give me time and you will be able to put your nose to your screen and smell the gun powder and hear the traffic coming from the radios.

Pete,

Simply amazing! Actually, I think I did hear someone breaking squelch on the radios!

Pete, I do believe there are 8 wires and not 7 and while you're at it, you might as well add the padlocks Seriously though, out of curiosity, why is there a wire by the gunner's platform just sticking out.

Pete you simply cease to amaze me. Most of my friends are waiting for Spring Break to flock to Florida. I'm waiting for it so that I can work on mine! Finish this up, you have a real beauty on your hands.

Jeff-that spare wire is to plug into the gunners pants for new US militaries air conditioned pants :-) :-)

Awsome work there Pete! The details are superb and I definately cant wait to see it done, you know we really must try and complete one campaign entry this year. Hows that M2A2 coming along? I pulled mine off the shelf and decided to fork out some more money on a barrel and some other stuff so I can hopefully get that done for the paint me Yellow or OIF campaign. Lets make this our year to actually complete some models *i say this with about 6 different in progress models sitting on my shelf, and here I am planning on starting a couple of M1114's-not good!*

ROFLMAO :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) :-) Tp damn funny Rob!
I agree with you completely Rob, lets finish one!

Jeff, as for the wire, it is for the air conditioned pants!!!!!!!!!!! Seriously, it is for the key board, wich might not be 100% accurate. i couldn't find any reference showing the complete cable location for the BFT, so I guessed. i am also missing the two hand mike cables that get hooked up to the two ASIIPS.

lol. OH BIG DEAL! That is something that some SSGT maintenance chief who's done three tours would miss. But I do like the pants idea, that is something the military should seriously look into, what with Land Warrior coming out, they couldn't find something that straps to your LBE with an adapter for a heater or an AC unit.
