here is a diorama that i made its really a test subject for my first attemt with using resin for water.
It really has no historical accuracy but im really pleased with how these photos came out.
Its also my first time using a backdrop... This one is just a calender picture i found(the only good one i could find)
The models in it are...
Tamiya Panzer II
Tamiya Sdkfz 222
Tamiya German Morter Team
And Some Tamiya German Infantry i got with a Sdkfz 251 halftrak.
So here it is.

Gday Dave
Firstly the figures and tanks look good, considering there age and how the quality has been well superceded...Also of what we can see of the ground work looks good too!
Although the photos appear ok, it is hard to get an overall impression of what's going on? Often it is best to show the 'big' picture and then follow up with some detail shots...
You mentioned your first attempt using resin for water, yet it is hard to judge from the couple of glimpses...
Great backdrop though; really gives me a Alps feel...
Cheers
Brad

Thanks Brad im really pleased with this little diorama i think its the first decent one ive made.
I will get an over all shot for you When i have some spare time.
Just realized that in the first photo the gun isnt painted properly. opps.
And i forgot to add that the tank commander is a italeri german officer that came with a shwimmen wagon i had to modify his arms to look a little more natural igave him the gun so he had a bit of caracter.

Quite a good camera actually.
Those photos where very hard to get as it was night time and there was a lot of playing around with shutter speed and apature settings.
Ummm...
Hope that answers your question.

Since the tank is just coming out of the stream (which looks great!) I'd add some "water coming off the rearmost tracks.(There's a great SBS on water effects here ) I'd also try to get more a a wet look on the road wheels.
When taking pictures, try using a couple directed light sources, such as flexible neck desk lamps since you're getting a lot of harsh shadows.
Your back drop gives a really nice sense of place.
The overhead shots suggest maybe some better composition for next time. The stream acts to create almost two different scenes. Maybe having it at an angle or having less space behind the 222 would make for a stronger story.

Hi guys thatnks for the comments and advice.
Thomas The water is resin with the effect made with White glue and white oil paint.
Al La Fleche Thanks for the advice sounds good the reason i put any water coming of the tracks is because i didnt want to tie anything down to the base.
Thanks all Cheers
