Dear all,
I have recently revised my camou airbrush techniques, and this is technically my first "proper" attempt to do camou (previous times had some hard edge camo experience which I felt was easier to execute).
The pictures are uploaded on "my photos"
a) Does the pattern look funny? I felt it looks off, not similar to what I see from other people's works
b) Is there a need to re-define the red brown and green camou lines again (Are the lines too faded now?)
This tiger was initially meant to be single tone, Otto carius 217, until I screwed up my wash in the final stages- hence I had to re-spray (forgoing the 217 and elephant decal which I took did as additional purchase. *sigh*)
Comments and guidance needed, please.

Looks fine to me! No need to redefine the camo lines, as they often faded in the field. Also, if it dosen't look like anyone elses camo jobs, that's good!
Most Tiger I camo was crew applied in the field, so their like fingerprints, no two are alike.
Good work so far, now finish it up!

Looks very good to me. The lines might be a little long for field applied camouflage, but it could easily be done by some Tiger crew if they wanted to.
To me the lines looks to be in the right shade - no need to redefine in my opinion.
Hope that helps

Best bet is to refer to actual period photos, not other models (sometimes really weird fads get started among modelers, and you see whole parades of "cool" looking models that don't resemble anything in real life--witness the current obsessions with preshading and chipped paint). Stackpole books has issued outrageously cheap paperback editions of Wolfgang Schneider's two "Tigers in Combat" books, which cover every unit that ever operated the Tiger (Army battalions are in Volume 1, while Volume 2 covers SS Battalions as well as Tigers in regular divisions and small companies and battlegroups). Just choose a particular unit, even a particular vehicle, and duplicate it in miniature.
