Was wondering if anyone knows of a manufacture that is going to produce this vehicle in 1/35 scale.

AFAIK there is nobody manufacturing this vehicle at all. Perhaps BaxMod may release one in the future...

I wish there were more companies out there that would tackle South African vehicles. They have so many interesting vehicles out there.

I had just mentioned on the South African forum that a top model maker has been requesting information on our G-6 SPH. I would think though, that if the RG-31 wins more contracts from the Yanks for use in Iraq and Afganistan (I think they have about 400 odd in use at the moment), we would see a major model maker produce the RG-31.

Boy, I hope you are right Mathew. I would even like to see someone do a Oliphant 1B. I have been debating on whether or not to buy the Rooikat kit from Aerogrphix. Have you seen any of their kits?

Hi Scott,
Matthew posted the news on KitMaker's South African community forum ("The Springbok Club")...

Hi Scott,
I'm afraid that I have never built an Aerographix model, so I cannot comment on the quality. I do understand that they make models for South African defence companies as display models at defence shows. So I would guess thier accuracy is pretty good.
I have also unfortunatley heard that the above-mentioned market is what they focus on - and us lowly modellers come in second in thier prioraties. However, this could also be very incorrect, and or things have changed a little at Aerographix.
Cheers,
Matthew

I emailed them a few years back enquiring after one their kits. I finally got a reply after four months, by that time I had forgotten all about it. So, there could well be something to that thought.
I see that they've given the web site a new look, so perhaps some things have changed. I'm still interested in some of their kits.
