Decided to post some thoughs, and building progress of 1/72 scale, dragons Tiger, mid production, with zimmerit (kit no 7251).
Well, first off all, at first glance, i wasnt happy about lots of points in this kit, so some parts were discarded, and new ones screatched. A clue to me, was why the heck there were no visor slots moulded on turret. Thus i made ones. I aswell cleaned of MG ring from commander cuppola, as one on kit was horrible. Heres shot of turret

It is real joy at some point to work with dragon kits, as plastic is quite easy to to cut with razor, so removing some not needed parts is easy. Now i started some work on base painting kit. will ad details like cables (the ones missing in kit will be scratched), and some tools later on too. Now im practicing a bit with my airbrush, as its my first paint job with it, new compressor too. First 1:72 kit two, and 2nd kit after 10yrs break.
Now rant part. i wanted to paint kit in cammo sugested in instructions (one on boxart too). Funny it is, i found same paintsceme in my reference book, and it states, that this particular tiger aint had zimm. Nor did other tiger having 2 tone camo sugested by kit. Those two are those rare ones without zimm. Funny it is to be more less correct, with this kit suplied decals, you only can build yellow tiger. Here goes advantage of moulded zimmerit. Found other paint scheme tho, altho painting numbers will be trickier.
