I want to bbuild a lend lease M# in Soviet/ Russian service. Does any no if any of the avalible kits are correct. I know little about US Armor so I really do not know where to start.

Of the models available in plastic, Academy's is the least wrong, but the bogies really need replacing.This article gives an idea of the shortcomings of the kit

but it's still streets ahead of the Tamiya one.
BTW ignore the stuff about the Russians only getting diesel engined M3s, this is a myth.

David's correct. They got PLENTY of the radial powered ones too! The Russian's were exasctly crazy for them..... thye would have liked more .50 mgs

There was a reason the Soviets nicknamed it "The coffin for Seven Brothers" ...
But the basic Academy kit is probably where you want to start, as noted.
