Hello folks, hereīs the finished model Iīve been working for this campaign.
The M163A1 itīs used by the Chilean Air Force for defence of air bases and deployment runways. Usually this vehicles are kept in very neat conditions, but I decided to gave it a more "in service" look through chipped paint, weathering and oil streaks. Only the camo scheme, numerals and side "Fuerza Aerea de Chile" (Chilean Air Force) mark were done almost exactly to the original reference pic .
Built almost OOB, only a few things were added to improve the look and make it a little closer to the real one. Ammo cans were taken from the kit and from the AFV Club set. Tarps were done using tissue paper and diluted white glue, straps are from masking tape.
For the camo paint, I used Humbrol enamels, details and effects with Vallejo Acrylics, filters and washes with artist oils, and final weathering with pastels and MIG Pigments.
Hope you like it and comments welcome as usual
Cheers

That's a very nice looking Vulcan--I really like the weathering.

Hi Klaus
A really nice build! I especially like the rather extensive, yet subtle weathering. A very nice and unique entry into the campaign.
Thanks for sharing
