Hi guys!
The SA-6 from Trumpeter out of the box. I scratchbuild the missiles because the kit ones are too long and too narrow. It is, I think, for 90 % done. It will take place on a mountain hill during the Yom-Kippur war. Still in search for a decent figure to go along with. So if you have any ideas, please let me know! I got a figure from a friend of mine (jan-willem) but I think it is too static and doesn't really fit in the scene.
Anyway, here is a picture:
When the scene is complete the rest will follow.
Thanks for viewing!

Looks great but I thought SA-6s had 3 missiles. Has one been fired?
Either way, this looks fantastic.

Have this kit in the box and your version is inspirational.
You may want to rethink the mountain thing though. I think most of the Egyptian AAA vehicles were deployed in the Sinai, which is pretty flat, during the Yom Kippur War. That is what I recall, anyway.
Great job and thanks for sharing,
Shaun

Hi Shaun,
you're probably right about the diobase. Well, my first intention was to make a desert scene but I somewhat got drifted away so it turned out to be an *ardenne mountain thingie*
Ah well, I'm happy with the end result and I can always hide myself under the artistic license, hehehe.

Jurgen, let it be a Syrian SA-6...then your mountain theme will fit. Tthere are plenty of hills/mountains in the Golan/Mt. Hermon area!
