OK, just started this, nope not for the upcoming campaign. More to learn to use my new camera and photo booth. So some of the shots aren't going to be the best as I learn to use both, and play around with the lights and settings, and backgrounds.

Nice work Dave,is that a Panzer resin model's cab?
I think the second photo, with the blue background looks best. The blue just adds depth to the photo.

It's a Real Models conversion.
I also think the blue looks best for the back ground.

Also you might want to try some bounce cards to get some light under the truck. Make it stand out more

Is the Conversion a Chevy cab or Studebaker?
Also, I like both the light and dark Blue background. Dark will let you use the flash more effectively, but light shows of the models borders and boundaries better.
If I had a set-up, I would use a light blue background with 3 - 4 indirect lights and forgo the flash. However, all I have is a simple 7 meg pixel digital with built in flash, so.....

I admit I had to pull out the reference books for this one. At first I thought it might be a Stude, but the cowl vents are very wrong. It's a GMC ACKW. Built from 1939, thousands served in (mostly) state-side units until the end of the war.

Sorry Charlie.....
Not yet, it's an at work project, and work has been busy lately.

Bumped to the top, with the news that this project has come to a sad demise.
I managed to save the cab, and tires, simply because they were not attached yet, but chassis and body met a sad end when I left them too close to the radiator.
The bright side is I now have an extra set of wheels for another Studebaker, and an excuse to start another Tamyia Duce and a Half to finish this one.

These things happen Dave. I´ve got a nephew that once shoved a PzIV along the carpet saying VRRRROOOOOMM VVRRRROOOMMM, photo-etch & everything Adiflippingos panzer. Shame about your misfortune because I was looking forward to following your build because I´m thinking of getting into resin pieces in a Bigger way than I´m used to.

Wouldn't you know it, Tank Workshop just announced a set of resin replacement wheels for the ICM Studebaker too.
