Seems like only yesterday when I was posting the last one, so, by means of a summary of all which was weird, wonderful, memorable, instantly forgettable and just downright Newsworthy, throw another yule-tide serf on the fire and sit back for one of my rare moments of Editorial and ill-disguised prejudice - the News Section's End-of-Year Washup...

It's the time of the year when many media outlets publish or broadcast their Reviews of the Year. Here, on Armorama we have no intention of being left behind. So, as usual in these festive times, my personal 'Spin' on the Superlative, the Good and the 'Seemed like a good idea at 4.00 a.m.'.

As the sounds of unbridled jollity (fuelled by generous quantities of Toner-flavored Egg-Nog) echo round the secretarial pool of Armorama Towers, the time has (perhaps) arrived for the News Section's Annual look-back at what was good, what was great and what was perhaps a good idea at the time, in 2007...

For over 4 years now Armorama has been gathering modelers from all over the world who enjoy building, planning, and generally gabbing about scale modeling related topics. And still the pervasive sentiment is that Armorama is an armor/afv site. Even the military theme of the site has been pushed to the extremes with posts about cars, comic characters, space ships and more. And rightly so because as a "community" our interests vary a lot.

As the modelling year comes to an end, and as I rarely get a chance to 'editorialize' (at least to any great extent), this seems like quite a good opportunity to be even more opinionated than I usually am (ahem...)

In this, I'm going to be taking a (highly) personal view of what (to me at least) have been the highs (and lows) of this year's new releases....
