MiniArt have updated us on a work in progress. This time it is a product that Jim Rae supplied Artwork for back in June this year and the product is (35135) CLOSE COMBAT. U.S. TANK CREW.
This is yet another product from MiniArt covering US tank crews of World War Two in 1/35th scale and the dynamic action poses I am sure will make this a very sought after product. As can be seen by the pictures of the actual figures the artwork is a good semblance of them which I know is something that I know is important to many of you. Our Thanks to MiniArt for updating us on the this product.

I can't wait for these to hit the LHS, I need for a dio I have had in mind since I was a kid.

Love 'em... Great action poses and expressive faces. Can I use these guys in Hobbyboss's M26A1 Pershing, or are the uniforms not from the same time frame? Hisham

These look terrific. But I'd be happy if even one of the previously announced US Tank Crews hit my dealers shelves. How many years will we have to wait for these?

Brian at least one of these sets to which you refer is on general release. US tank crew in NW Europe 35070

These look great, but I have to ask if anyone else has a problem finding Miniart items. I don't have a well stocked LHS in my area so I'm limited to on-line buys. Every time I look for Miniarart items they seem to be sold out. Dragon USA's website seems to have dropped the line entirely. What's the deal here guys? Am I missing something?

Guy: try Lucky Model out of Hong Kong. They seem to have a good selection of MiniArt in stock. Be cautious of ordering "available" items though, as it could be a long wait... HTH. Happy Modelling, -zon

In the UK at least they are very well represented in local model stores, I suspect the problem may be more to do with the very large selection of models MiniArt now has making it hard to have anything like a full range.

Hey guys, thanks for the feedback. I'll try Lucky Model and see what they have. Cheers

Guy, I get most of mine from over seas. You can try HobbyTerra http://www.hobbyterra.com/scales.asp?item=35 or Jadar Models Poland at http://www.jadar.com.pl/start-a.htm . Hobby Terra if you do a order of $150 postage is free. Jadar if you work your orders right postage is only about $13. Check out both to see which ones prices are best. It takes about 3 weeks to get the items, but price savings wise it is worth it. Tom
