Great March Releases from Bronco

Bronco has been really busy with five new models getting ready for release. These offerings cover the period of World War Two through Korea and should get the juices flowing in a large number of members. Take a look inside for details.

Bronco has been doing a Stirling job of bringing new and interesting products onto the market, with a very good selection of artillery guns for the fans of the “Art of the Battlefield”. Their range of tanks has also resulted in some interesting releases in the past, but what are they up to now. Here are the latest works from Bronco getting ready for release.

• CB35036 -1/35 Hungarian 40/43M 'Zrinyi'II 105mm Assault Gun.

• CB35067 - 1/35 German 88mm Flak 41 Anti-Aircraft Gun W/Crew.

• CB35068 – 1/35 Light Tank M24 “Chaffee” (British type)

• CB35109 - 1/35 Russian Heavy Self-Propelled Gun SU-152(KV-14)Late-Production.

• CB35111 - 1/35 OQF 40mm Bofors Anti-Aircraft Gun Mk.I/III(British Version).

Bronco has the Late SU-152 and Trumpeter announced an Early SU-152...so what's the main differences between the two? Is it different wheels or something beyond that?

They don't have to - this is an SU-152, not an ISU-152. Different beast. Only kit to date of this is from Eastern Express, I think.

I love Bronco Models. They produce quality kits that not many other manufacturers are doing (or if they are...Bronco does it better). The Hungarian tank and KV-14 are on my radar now......I'll have to sell some kits so my "better" half won't throw a fit when I get these. Great news! Jeff

So these are to be releases in March? These aren't just "March announcements?" Thank you Bronco. I've been wanting to do a Budapest scene with some Hungarian armor for quite a while! And I've always wanted to build a SU-152 but didn't want to fight with the Eastern Express kit. And that Flak 41 looks awesome! That Credit card is gonna take quite a hit this month.

I notice Bronco have included a few MiniArt models in the cover art for their 88 - namely, the park wall, Normandy farm wall with gate, and German house. With the amount of new releases every month now it is becoming almost impossible to keep up with them, or even to ever buy them all, which is not neccessarily a bad thing.

The sides of the roof are different. The late version has the fighting compartment side upper edge, flush with the roof, while the early one has the side upper edge in a kind of bullit splash guard style with periscope cut-outs. Further not much difference between early and late SU 152 tanks. Frank.
