Was browsing the Internet and came across a couple of announced "new" releases from Revell.
I have to admit, I don't have a lot experience with Revell, the company has been around for a long time, in multiple configurations, but I was never a real fan. But this may change, Revell, through their website, has announce a few new models in 1/35 scale. While one or two look vaguely familiar, I beleive they are new to Revell. And I must admit again, the Henschel truck looks inviting.

80-3098 - Henschel 33D1
80-3099 - German Staff Car "Admiral Cabriolet"

Hi folks, I built the old Monogram kit as an LCP(R) so I'll probably get another. It was good fun. Al

Yeah, Pat, stuff in some baking soda in a small compartment in their feet and toss 'em into the bath and watch them bubble around.

I agree with all that has been posted, I built that one back in 1966. Now Hobbico owns Revell is this re release a window to the future (dusting off old moulds) and pushing them out as 'New'... Keith.

Hi Nice to see Revell releasing kits both old and new. Sure the truck and car are re-boxing of ICM kits, but as Pat explained this is good because Revell seems to have a wider distribution network than ICM, thus making it easier to get them. As to price, I don't think Revell's price is that much different to what you'd pay for the ICM version. What does surprise me is that, quote "browsing the Internet and came across a couple of announced "new" releases from Revell." Why isn't Armorama getting this information direct from Revell like other sites and including it in a news item? Why is the news team not conversing with Revell direct? There was a time when Armorama was virtually always first or close with any new modelling release news direct from manufacturers or distributors. Alan

Thanks Roman, it would be good if someone did the LCP (L) and a new LCA. Cheers Al

While the UDT looks interesting, I suppose it needs a lot of research and extra detailing.

It does need a lot of TLC to bring it up to today's standards. But after more than 50 years it's still the only game in town. Al

The kit (U.D.T. boat)is an older one but builds up nice with no fit problems that you would assume from older molds. The frogmen and those of the mentioned Heller kit are all post W.W.2 so they need to be back dated to swim trunks, snorkels and mask's. Not sure about the date for the raft and motor, but it is a good fit also. I have both in the stash and Taffy 3 has the U.D.T. built up real nice and yours looks real good to Al M. The L.C.V.P. is an old one too, but builds up good. Being the only one in town, givin a bit of T.L.C. you will be happy with them. I used the L.C.V.P. as a French river supply boat years ago in a dio and still like it. Of course some A.M. company would be a blessing for the supper detailer. Now with the L.C.M. we have some options for good assault dio's. Can't make any comments on the vehicles as I don't have any experience with them.
